The Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990 requires the Defense Department and other agencies to incorporate their annual financial statements into a Performance and Accountability Report (PAR) or an alternative Agency Financial Report (AFR). DeCA's Annual Financial Report is aligned to the statutory guidance framework and has been prepared to enhance the presentation of performance, management and financial information, and to demonstrate a higher standard of accountability.
